I had to accept the difficult truth, that for the next few years, until you were old, I had to continue my life without you. I could have stayed in Taiwan, but your mother would never have let me see you. Also, I might have ended up in prison because of the actions that your mother took against me (she reported me to the police even though I didn't do anything bad or commit a crime, because she wanted to force me to leave Taiwan and away from you forever).
I realised that I needed to start looking after myself, to stop driving myself crazy in fighting for you, because I could never win that fight.
Leo, I have so much to tell you about what has happened since !
I am waiting for you to come and see me, and think about you every day.
I love you and miss you, you are always in my thoughts.
It is April 2010 now, and you are almost four years old. I have called your mother many times over the last few months to speak to you, but she has only picked up the phone a few times, and has now told me that I can't talk to you at all. It seems that she is not ready to make peace yet.

UPDATE FEBRUARY 2025
Leo, you are 18 years old now, and will be 19 this May. I have my own family now, two children- a boy of 15 and a girl of 10. We live in Spain. We talk about you still and are still trying to find you. We have tried to contact your family via your Aunt, Shu Zhen Wang, and sent letters to her to give to you. But she put the phone down on us an refused to help. Your mother and her family are still blocking us and we haven't heard anything about you for 15 years now. But we will not give up !
