The 2nd May 2010 is your 4th birthday. These photos were sent to me by your mother, taken at Chinese New Year. They are the only photos I have seen of you in the last two years. I am so happy to see them because you look happy and healthy.
I wish so much that I was allowed be a proper Daddy to you, to guide you through the problems that you will have at school, and teach you to be strong and wise.
I am with you in spirit. Sometimes I feel that we are very close, and being without you hurts me more than usual. Maybe these are the times when you are also thinking about me.
I will keep on trying to persuade your mother to make peace, to let me have contact with you and even see you. For now, all I can do is just wish you all the happiness there in your life in Taiwan.
