My
struggle
to
be
with
you-
Part
2 Firstly we flew to the city of Melbourne, where we stayed in a place called St Kilda. We stayed in a hotel. It was difficult for me to look after you because I had to work at the same time. I tried to make life as much fun for you as possible. Every day I took you to the children's playground, where you loved to play. And sometimes we went to the beach. But I was nervous and worried, because I knew the police were looking for us. I was scared that one day, the police would knock on our door, take you away, hand you over to your mother and I would never see you again. After one month, we moved to Trinity Beach in Queensland. We stayed in a big hotel room, there was a pool where you loved to play in. I found a nanny to look after you during the daytime when I worked. She had two young children, you used to love playing with them and splashing around in their big pool. But I realised that I could not run away with you
forever.
Every day, I sent e-mails to your mother, saying that I
wanted you to
be together with her, all I wanted is for her to promise
that she would
never stop me seeing you again. She promised to do so, and we agreed to return to Taiwan
and
divorce, and you would spend half the time with me, and
half the time
with her. We all returned to
Taiwan together.
